G. Ann Remick-Barlow, MSW, LISW—an independent social worker and marriage and family counselor—owns and manages EAYP. In private practice since 1975, Ann is a New Mexico Licensed Independent Social Worker; a Texas Licensed Master Social Worker and Advanced Clinical Practitioner (LMSW/ACP); and a Texas Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
She is a:
- Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD) by the Academy of Clinical Social Workers;
- Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association;
- Clinical Hypnotic Anesthesiologist certified by the National Board for Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anesthesiology
Ann has her certification in equine assisted psychotherapy through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).

| Brenda Zander Equine Specialist (ES), RN, ADN has over 20 years practicing as a nurse, including case management, with addictions recovery. Her volunteer activities include NM Board of Nursing Diversion Program and working with mentally and physically challenged persons of all ages. She can converse in Spanish and enjoys learning more by practicing as often as possible with fluent speakers.
Brenda has many years of horse experience. She serves as an Equine Specialist and Horse Person (person who tends to the need of the horses) on our staff. She loves horses of all ages and sizes and would prefer to learn from them and be their alpha horse more than most other activities. She is an artist, loves nature, and is an exceptional equine specialist as she is constantly learning from these special teachers. She loves children, cats, dogs and especially our horses. They all love her abilities to relate through respect and kindness. She has been practicing as an equine specialist for over a year with our staff and is currently working on her Level 1 Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship. She is certified as Level 1 EAGALA.

| Terry Lund, Equine Specialist (ES) has worked with many mental health organizations and has years of experience working with children. In addition, she has specialized training for working with drug and alcohol abusers and public offenders.
Terry began her equine career as a small child with lessons from a Sicilian Riding Master. She has owned several horses in Phoenix, Arizona, Kansas City, Missouri, and now in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she resides with her husband, Jerry, two horses and other varied four-leggeds. Terry has completed Level 2 of the Parelli program and is well on her way to completing Level 3 and has her certification in equine assisted psychotherapy through EAGALA.

| Jerry Lund, Equine Specialist (ES) is a trained counselor who finds joy in working with horses and young people. Using his training in tandem with his many life-skills, he brings compassion, discipline and strength to our program.
Jerry is an experienced horseman. He owned a horse farm in Missouri and presently is living in Las Cruces with his wife, Terry, their two horses and a menagerie of four-legged’s. Jerry has studied under several Parelli Certified Instructors, has completed Level 1 as well as most of the Level 2 tasks in the Parelli program and is also certified in equine assisted psychotherapy through EAGALA.

| Linda Moses, LPCC is the most recent addition to our staff. She worked for many years in criminal justice and has been in private practice for several years. Linda serves as therapist, group worker, addictions specialist and Equine Assisted Psychotherapist on our staff. Linda currently is an Access to Recovery Provider which serves local residents with their recovery processes. Linda is very knowledgeable in the fields of addictions and recovery.
Linda studied with the NMSU Animal Science Program as she someday wants to have her own program involving therapy with adults and horses. She is a welcome addition to our staff having her own practice and being a provider for various insurance companies. Linda's sense of humor is infectious—having her around is always an energy boost—besides she too loves children and horses. Go to top of page.

| Judy Bartlett Equine Specialist (ES) is a retired caseworker and intake coordinator, currently an MSW student at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. She serves as both an Equine Specialist and Horse Person for our Equine Assisted Youth Programs. She has training in family therapy, domestic violence, crisis intervention and is certified in Polarity Therapy.
Judy has been working with EAYP for over a year while she has attended the university. She is a transplant from northern New England, living her dream in the Southwest by following the trail of the “Turquois Horse” and working as an EAYP staff person. She has had a love of horses all her life and enjoys being a partner with them whether it be in a therapeutic situation or just horsing around. She is an excellent researcher and provides invaluable information toward this service with children and horses. Judy is EAGALA trained at Level 1 and has NAHRA experience in therapeutic recreation working with children and adults with various disabilities. Go to top of page. |

| Chelsea Jones recent NMSU MSW graduate joined our staff as an intern. She is wise beyond her years having been raised in Saudi Arabia. She put herself through school, both bachelor and masters level, in three and half years while being a single mom to a horse loving daughter.
Chelsea is an outstanding social worker and will continue interning with EAYP until she decides she want to get a “real” job. We couldn't let her go until she helped us with the summer Youth Day Camps. She knows about the younger children and is a great role model for many. She is our “culture” expert. We are glad to have her until she decides to move on as a social worker in other phases of her journey. Go to top of page. |

| Andrea Joseph is a former attorney who retired to pursue her love of horses. Andrea is an adjunct professor teaching in the NMSU Criminal Justice Department and is currently serving as a “Horse Person” with EAYP bringing much of what she is learning about the care and well-being of horses to our staff. (She is attending NMSU's Animal Science Program to get her Equine Specialty Certification.)
Andrea was born in California and was raised in France and England. She brings a world view to the program as well as constant laughter and appreciation of our horse staff. She is an avid student and teacher and has brought a wide variety of horsemanship to EAYP.
