Many of our Equine Specialists have level 1 certification with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) as well as training in the Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship program. We have years of experience either owning our own horses, managing stables, studying with horse experts and/or working with them from many perspectives.
The methods we use are determined by the need of our clients based on years of horsemanship, therapy, social work and counseling experience. The average age off our staff is 50 with interns that are in their late 20's. Together we bring over 200 years of experience serving people and animals in all walks of life. We function as a team and encourage our clients to see the value of forming supportive community. By collaborating with other organizations and institutions such as NMSU, Community Action, public and private schools, physicians, therapists and private citizens, we are stronger in our mission.
